First Post

First post ever on Samantha Kay Designs.

I'm not normally one to post a blog, I do read them and I have done the odd one in the past, but it's not something I would normally do ... until now ;)

I thought it should be about time that I start up a blog for my jewellery page.

This is a new little venture for me and I must say, I am loving it! It will take me a little while to work out my time management, by hey, I'm just starting out, and nothing comes easily right?! Gotta put the hard work in. Starting out kinda slowly, but I do plan to eventually have a website if things take off.

A little bit about myself; I am married to a beautiful husband and am a stay at home mummy to a gorgeous daughter and son. I do work part time at a Call Centre, so not entirely stay at home, but you get my meaning. I started out wanting to do the hand stamped jewellery mainly because I wanted a hand stamped item of my own. I did some research and found a couple of websites that I liked. Now I can't remember what put the idea in my head exactly, but next thing I know, I'm researching stamping kits and jewellery items.
It has been a long while in the making (nearly a year) and I have been slowly adding bits to my collection.
I finally made the plunge and created a facebook page called Samantha Kay Designs where I have slowly been adding some different designs. I haven't added hand stamped items to the collections yet, as I am wanting to perfect it as best I can and am still looking around different websites to find lots of different and fantastic things.
I have so many ideas running around in this darling head of mine that I should really write it all down somewhere.

Anyways, I think that's ok for the first ramblings on my blog. I'm sure I'll improve and not sound so "Dear Diary"

Sam xx
